The most authoritative guide to Italian wine reaches its 39th edition this year. Vini d’Italia is the result of the work of an extraordinary group of over sixty tasters, who have traveled the length and breadth of the country to select only the finest: over 24,000 wines reviewed from 2,605 wineries.

Scores and Descriptions:

  • Three Glasses: The highest award, given to excellent wines that stand out for their quality and character.
  • Two Red Glasses: Recognized for wines that have reached the final stages of the “Three Glasses” competition but did not achieve the highest score.
  • Two Black Glasses: Awarded to wines considered good or excellent but that did not reach the final stage of the competition.
  • One Black Glass: Indicates a wine considered good.
  • Three Green Glasses: A more recent award, reserved for great, sustainably produced organic wines.
